NBC's "The Good Place" (Season 1)

I think it is an interesting idea and a great cast and very funny, but how long can it go on before the concept gets old and repetitive?

Pretty good premiere episodes; I love Bell and Danson and Schur's shows only get better as they go on, so hopefully NBC gives this one time to grow

Thought this was decent enough to continue watching for a little while. Interesting concept and executed well enough. I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing how the story progresses. Bell was a great choice for this role.

At least the premiere seemed to get pretty decent ratings. But the high concept premise and the somewhat serialized serialized nature could definitely end up a detriment, since that usually isn't what people are looking for in a sitcom.

Anyway, I wasn't blown away by the premiere, but I thought it was definitely off to a promising start.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes and I thought it was pretty funny. Bell had a lot of good one-liners. Hopefully it does well pared with Superstore (which I love) on Thursdays.

Not ready to commit to buying this early, but I'm really liking this. I really hope this has a long run. I wasn't sure KB would do anything I liked again and now she's done Bad Moms and a weekly sitcom that I like. I'm so happy.

I think the latest ep was the best so far!

I know we briefly saw a few of them in the orientation video in the pilot, but some of the "sins" that count against you are hilarious.

Great to see Adam Scott and I hope we get to see some of the Bad Place.

I'm enjoying the show. I have a theory that

[Show spoiler] Each soulmate pair has a "mistake" that is part of the whole system. Maybe because Michael stayed to micromanage that it had manifestations or they are apart of it for all. Could be there is no bad place at all. The appearance of the other Eleanor might throw a wrench in it though.

Well I can't see the show tonight because the local channel 8 in Tampa FL are showing football instead who did the same nonsense for the one AGT this summer. Be sure to check if your local channels aren't doing it.

Yeesh. That's terrible. I figured it being a 13-episode would mean they'd just air the whole series in one go...

Yeah, that was a great finale. Definitely didn't see that coming, but in hindsight it makes sense.

For a while I was really thinking about where this show would go.

[Show spoiler]If this had really been "The Good Place," and Elanor was there by mistake, would this just drag out constantly on deciding where she should go if the series continues beyond the first season?

Now this really gives it an interesting direction to go in. I just hope we actually get a second season. The ratings for the show haven't been the best.
