My picks would be Olivia Wilde for Ivy and Lauren Cohan for Catwoman (which won't happen since she was Martha in BVS). Regardless, I'm exciting to hear about the solo film.

Very cool character. Who would you like to see play her? I don't see them going that route until Barbara Gordon's Batgirl is established, but it would still be cool to see down the line.

Actually, that's not why I think she's excellent for the role at all. She's one of my favorite actresses, no matter what she looks like. She's given some of my favorite performances this century, in everything from Tree of Life to Zero Dark Thirty to Salomé and Miss Julie and loads of others. She also has a very strong range. I mean, just compare her roles in Zero Dark Thirty and The Help and Coriolanus -- couldn't be more different.

She seems to be able to do pretty much anything.

I think Olivia Wilde would be a good choice. That short haircut of Kate Kane was pulled off great with her in Tron.

Just dye her hair red and she can pull off the look. Plus she is a solid actress.

I remember my main issue with the Suicide Squad trailer, was Harley actually seeming a little too sane. I don't know if it was Margot or the writers, but I was hoping for the complete loon from the 1990s series.

My guess is they're going for a slightly salacious interpretation of the character, as opposed to the classic goofy, unhinged rendition of Quinn. I can appreciate why they're going that way. I do believe we'll still see elements of the Quinn that was voiced so brilliantly by Sorkin, but for obvious reasons they'll err on the side of sauciness. As long as they capture that undercurrent of tragedy that defines the character, IMO, I'll be happy.

If they do a solo movie for Harley Quinn she won't be the villain, anti-heroine more likely. The only way they'd make her bad is if she were up against a true hero. You can't have a villain as the protagonist. It won't play.

I'd wait and see if SS actually does well first off, we all know what happened with BvS.

And the problem is, ZS has already set the tone for the entire DC universe, that's the problem with BvS and MoS. Its gonna be very hard to shift away from that tone now without everything falling apart, if it hasn't done so already. The fact ZS is still in charge of the JL movie is also not a good sign.
