I just checked, only the Warner Brothers titles have slashes through the UPCS, the Columbia TriStar ones do not

Well I decided to get this double feature, cost me nothing after I bought 2 Applebee's gift cards which gave me 800 free plenti points when I bought $50 worth of gift cards, which is great since I go to Applebees quite a bit. Then I went over to Applebee's and had some half-price apps, some tasty steak quesadillas!

Rite Aid is horrible when it comes to handling their media. The one I used to go to before I moved had an entire shelf of outdated, overpriced video games collecting dust.

You should double check those outdated games collecting dust. I have found many valuable treasures at Rite Aids.

Amazon reviews suggest Ultimate Hunter Edition for Predator, barebones releases for the other two. Given that Terminator has had loads of releases, that info does not seem to help much. It does not look to be the Director's Cut for Commando.

It is inferior versions of all three movies. I own it.

Commando and Terminator are the old releases. Predator is the super-happy-fun-DNR-overload edition.

I went to one of my local Rite-Aid locations and saw a bunch of blu-ray titles for sale. The ones I noticed are:

The Good shepard $6.99
The Fast and the Furious 6 movies set $14.99
Hotel Transylvania 2 $4.99
Mike and Dave need wedding dates $6.99
Jurassic park 3D $9.99

There are many others like Jurassic park 3D but I didn't check the price. I'm pretty sure selection of titles will be YMMV.

I bought this for $5 a few months ago at a Rite Aid, while I was out of town:




There seemed to be some other good stuff which I already had and/or didn't want, so I didn't pay much attention. Regional?

The Rite Aid near me never has anything good!


EDIT: And Just like with Big Lots, Dollar General, or 7-Eleven...Be sure to check that "Movies-U-Buy" sticker to see if it's a Used (or Previously Viewed) copy.

My Rite-Aid has been selling Blu-Rays for a while, but the prices are usually higher than online, and despite being sealed, they are sometimes used discs masquerading as new.

Walgreens bought and runs the pharmacy part. Some of the RA stores closed if they were close to WG stores. Some stayed open as RA stores, but officially Walgreens pharmacy --I'm assuming for business and insurance plans that's important. There were 2 in my city - one closed, one stayed since it's really as island with no other pharmacies within 4 miles or more, but near several upper/middle income neighborhoods with a fair amt of Aging Residents who have lived here for 40-50+yrs, They prefer to stay nearer home and not fight with the Hospital traffic or Walmart/US highway.


RA in the neighboring town appears to have done the same -- the WG and CVS are 4 miles (and 6 traffic lights) on the other side of town nearer the small Hospital. This RA is near an Acute Care and some doctors offices, less than 1 mile from the 2 Interstate exits and a major US highway and no direct competition.
