WB loves renaming their underperformers.

While I do agree that Warner outright renamed Edge of Tomorrow, the others mentioned look more like taglines, just placed poorly. When it comes to EoT, the original title appears smaller than what used to be the tagline of Live. Die. Repeat. Now, if Private Dicks and A New Threat Awaits appeared larger than the original titles, then I'd be compelled to agree with you. Warner seemed to try and cash in on the fact that the tagline to EoT was catchy enough to have been confused as the film's title, but no one I know has refered to The Nice Guys as Private Dicks.

With Nice Guys and Tarzan, I don't even recall those taglines being used in ANY of the marketing material. At least with Live Die Repeat I do remember seeing that either on a poster or in a trailer prior to theatrical release.

Also "A New Threat Awaits" just sounds terrible and doesn't really make any sense (what was the old threat? Was there a movie before this I was supposed to have seen? Is this a sequel? Reboot? Remake?).

WB marketing strikes again

Best Buy finally added pre-order links, but only for the 2D and 3D combo packs, no UHD.

Question is.... 4k or 3D? I usually go 3D over 4k but I pre-ordered the Panasonic 4k player so it's time for me to start picking up some 4k titles

I'm just not sure what to think of this. I felt it was very bland and uninteresting. It wasn't bad, but nothing exciting at all. I might skip it...unless a sequel is highly probable.

Thoughts?

It's not getting a sequel, unless by some small miracle home video sales are through the roof (and part of me thinks the low price on the 4K is an attempt to make that happen).

This was good but not great.

Im getting sick of seeing Margo Robbie.

CGI was very smooth.

Not enough action.

They spend too much time with civilized Tarzan....but thats the premise.

Every intention of buying this yesterday, even went into Target and had it in hand and then put it back. I want the movie but I realized its just a standard copy every store has and it will be cheaper considerably on BF I feel. All the movies I have gotten recently had to be bought on release day to make sure I got the exclusive I wanted, this is going to be everywhere WITH the slips for a few months.

What? How can anyone be sick of her? She's a pleasure to look at.

Beyond being gorgeous, she's a great actress with kinetic on-screen chemistry with her other cast members.

Sick of Margot Robbie? Does not compute. Beautiful, talented, and smart.

Considering a blind buy simply due to Margot Robbie. Does she get plenty of screen time?

Almost half. She plays a good Jane while camouflaging the damsel in distress.

She's about to jump into the overexposed Scarlet Johanson and Jennifer Lawrence Zone.

Skarsgaard and Jackson get the most from what I remember, but Robbie gets a good chunk along with Waltz.

That's my line of thinking as well. I just checked the price - 24.99 seems too steep for me. I'll either hold out until Black Friday or keep an eye on third-party sellers on Amazon. I would say <15 is my sweet spot, but ideally <10 come BF.
