I would have been 14 in the summer of '86 when I saw this multiple times with various friends at the theater. .we were all getting ready to attend different high schools that September, and despite promises that we would stay in touch, we all unavoidably went our own seperate ways. .

...I never had friends later on in life quite like the ones I had when I was 13...Jesus, does anyone?

One of the editions I have on dvd came with the soundtrack and a nice booklet describing the making of the movie and some bio info on the cast..

I just keep my movie soundtracks in their own series of media towers...I would never want to separate them from the original packaging and liner notes.

I do stick DVD copies of movies in with the Blus if the DVDs have exclusive extras. Saves a lot of shelf space.

To make things clear, this is a Sony's mess, not Amazon or BB's. They're inconsistent with the dates lately. Stripes probably joined the club of delayed titles such as Crouching Tiger, Little Women etc...Stand By Me could make it, though.

We'll find out soon.

That's exactly why I combined them all together. To save space. Also, I just feel when a movie soundtrack is stellar putting them all together in one package makes the most sense. (for me)

It already has the transfer it desereves.
First Blu Ray was from a then fresh 4k remaster.
