Peter MacNicol's nomination for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy for Veep has been revoked after it was found that MacNicol appeared in 5 of the 10 Veep episodes this season, with the rule stating that actors must appear in less than 50% of a season's episodes to be eligible for guest actor. When nominations were due MacNicol was only scheduled to be in 4 episodes, but the show ended up using him for roughly 10 seconds in a 5th episode and that made him ineligible. A replacement nominee should be announced soon.

It's absurd that The Leftovers got absolutely no love. The second season was one of the finest seasons of television in the past few years. Even if the drama category was crowded, I feel like the acting from many of the show's cast were fantastic and could've replaced some of the other nominees.
