Does anyone know if Into Darkness will have the IMAX footage like the US Compendium edition?

The steelbook is WWA so same with the rest of the world.

I keep wondering if the steelbook that features the same artwork as on the Compendium will be embossed/debossed. I have the compendium that opens like a book. The Enterprise on the cover is nicely raised (embossed?). I plan to get Blufans' edition of this steelbook instead of the Zavvi release.

Does anybody know for sure that this is/is not region-free/region A? I've seen a few listings that say a particular title is Region B, only to turn out it's region-free after all.

I haven't yet bought any version of this trilogy/series and was hoping for precisely this, a box set combining the 3D versions of the film for the 2 that have been in that format as well as the first film in 2D. This steelbook cover would be my preference, but if anyone knows of a different 3-film combo with the 3D versions of the last two, in region A or region-free, I'd be obliged.

Its very unlikely they will go to the effort of authoring new discs only to region lock them when all their previous Trek offerings have been region free, I expect it will include the exact same discs as released previously.

No they're not, for example the US release of Hercules is locked to region A.

For a number of reasons I would suspect it's region free since I can find at least one report of Region Free on each of the individual releases, it is Paramount/Universal, but if someone can confirm it would be helpful to put it to rest

I have the Italian set and it is Region free.
