Love Michelle Johnson who played China in the movie as a kid especially after seeing her in Blame It On Rio.

Would love to see a remake more like the first movie instead of the second movie or at least a prequel sequel about another group who ventured into the Waxwork and didn't get out.

There will be plenty of Alice Through The Looking Glass to go around, and it will be much cheaper if you wait.

New releases from the big studios should be at the bottom of a collector's priority list these days.

Agreed. If I have to give up or postpone picking up stuff like The Jungle Book (which I enjoyed) in favor of these catalog titles I don't have a problem with that.

BTW, that cover for Waxwork I & II didn't pop out at me as much as the covers for Chopping Mall and Blood Diner did. Maybe that double feature split screen format reminds me too much of the old Lionsgate

Ah ha! There is no statement on what the aspect ratio will be and what is the correct ratio, anyway? Is it 1:33 or is it 1:85?

Hate the cover artwork. Its cheap like the old dvd. They should have separate cases for these. The original artwork for Waxwork on the old Vestron VHS is classic and shouldnt be compromised by the the shi//y artwork from 2. jmo

Based on what's listed I'm assuming this is going to be a single disc BD50 release, but if Lionsgate wants to continue to wow me and really send collectors a powerful message about taking the line seriously these 2 films will each come on their own discs. If that means 2 BD25's instead, so be it. Separate discs are always worth extra recognition.

Can't wait to get this one, my favorite of the announced titles and can't wait to listen to the commentaries on both films. Always loved Zach Galligan.

It's guaranteed to be one disc, but even if it weren't, the release would still be one case with the cover art split between the two films, so I'm not sure how much difference it would actually make in the presentation. Wouldn't there be extra cost concerns involved with pressing a second disc?

I definitely don't like double-feature discs when the films don't really belong together, like the Reptilicus/Tentacles disc, or when one is awful and unconnected, like Hot Spot/Killing Me Softly and The Outing/Godsend, and in those cases I'd actually prefer the lesser film not be included at all, even if the price were unchanged.

I may be a little biased since I'm not a fan of the current Alice films, but if it were me, I'd hold off on that one. Unless there's a store exclusive that you're really wanting, it's a given you'll be able to get it at a cheaper price later on down the line. Not to mention, if these catalog titles do well, that gives more incentive for studios to continue to release them.
