Does anyone know if the subtitle accuracy has been improved for this release?

I can now sell my Region A copy which never worked since it wasn't region free.

I just placed an order for the Umbrella release. If you provide the lines and time stamps, I will check it out when the blu-ray arrives.

Nice one, thanks. Rather than the plot-critical ones, I've just picked a few minor details from the first 20 minutes that should be clear indicators of any changes. Times are taken from the US blu.

00:34
Spike: "He was always alone, always by himself."
A simple thing in the US version's first subtitle, they added a semi-repetition where none existed.

12:42
3 KM was changed to 2 miles in the US version of the news report.

~16:57
Doctor: "It's no virus that we know of, and it's not a nerve gas."
Should be continuing Hoffman's line, along the lines of: "or a nerve gas or any other virus we know of. Anyway, we can't interpret it" (which is what leads Hoffman's next line, "what does that mean?").

18:42
Spike: "You expect us to hunt him down with these flimsy leads?"
Should be more like: "This is the big lead? You're suggesting we can catch him with one blurry photo?"

Bad news. I checked all 4 examples and they are all exactly the same.

Ah well, cheers for checking. It's still going to be a way better set than the US one, and there's always hope for the translations with the rumoured UK release.

Resurecting an old thread here, but does anyone know if there is any difference between the Umbrella and Madman releases?

Yeah it'd be nice to know what audio track - would be nice if the disc was lossless like the Italian disc. I know the listing here shows identical, but suspect that was just copied from umbrella
