I saw him post earlier today that he was on vacation so that could explain it.

Ouch. It's cheaper for me to go to the theater these days, surprisingly. I saw BvS 4 times in theaters and the steelbook from Best Buy was more expensive than those 4 viewings.

If I'm going by myself, then by all means that's cheaper. I was thinking of it as a ticket for my wife and I, popcorn, and drinks.

Ick. I always buy tickets for my friends and I to go, and they reimburse me. I'm always organizing the movie outings, haha.

We all typically go out to eat prior to the movie. So no $$$ is spent on concessions at all.

I always eat at home before going to the movies and use free movie tickets.

Cool, I like to keep series going with formats and since I already have MOS and BVS I'm glad they have this one too. Looks like DCEU will be steelbooks and MCU will be slips.

His Heston gif won't download to his ancient Andriod phone while he's sunning himself on the beach

That was going to be my mentality, too. But I recently sold all my Marvel films (mint slips and all) after a friend gave me ALL of his digital copy codes. The only one I don't have in my iTunes is the first Iron Man.

As of now, I have both MoS and BvS as steelbooks and in my iTunes like my Dark Knight trilogy.

I really enjoyed the movie but I doubt I'll pay 30 bucks plus tax on a steelbook. Anyway I'm hoping that Target does a digibook to go with my MoS and BvS digibooks.

Well call me crazy, but I really like theatre popcorn. I like it so much in fact, that I have driven out to the theatre, not found anything that I wanted to see, bought the popcorn, and went home again to watch in my HT.

It may be more economical going on your own, but once you get a gf + more then it stops being cheap.

To be honest, I enjoy the HT experience more, now. If I go to the theatre, it will be VIP or IMAX 3D, which is a lot more than a regular ticket cost.

I just make popcorn at home. I mean you can do the same thing with a nice popcorn maker if you don't want to do microwave popcorn or cook it on the stove.
