2016 Halloween/Horror Movie Deals! - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

There was an endcap @ Best Buy yesterday featuring "Halloween Edition" movies with those gold-ish inserts on the front. Various titles and prices. I don't see anything online yet though.

Also, a Superstore here had a mixed-box of Halloween DVDs/BDs up near the magazines, which is odd considering they're barely getting anything but big releases on physical media now. Nothing really stood out to me, so it's more of an FYI.

I think those are $7.99 but are the same WB titles as last year.

That's what it sounds like to me. Last year I remember The Fly, Return of the Living Dead, Last House on the Left, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Species may have been one? They were just cardboard cutouts with different artwork glued to the front of the original case. Made the mistake of trying to peel it off like a Jcard. Don't do that.

Wait, I think the ones I'm talking about are MGM, not WB like Uther mentioned. The MGM ones have a gold looking sticker on the front I think, so could still be these.

HMV has a few of the Frankenstein and Wolf Man Universal Horror Legacy Collections for better prices than Amazon.ca right now:

I saw both in-store at HMV and the price I remember was $35. I also saw the Universal Hammer Horror collection ($53.99) which like the Legacy ones was lower then the amazon price but cheaper at Zeus.

For those not familiar with these sets they both contain four of the same titles and other titles from the Universal Monster Blu-ray collection as well as not released before titles.

I think that's the DVD in the Best Buy shelf picture

I think it says Stephen Kings IT... BUT I also think that's the DVD...the bluray have the blue banner on the top of the case..

The BB label would also say blu-ray on it. All the $4.99 on the display are DVDs from what I remember.

Yeah, it's the DVD. I saw the BB pic that was posted after I asked about it.

On another note, quite a few Scream Factory titles have dropped to $18.99 on amazon. ca, I think I'll wait and see what the shocktober sale has first though...it starts tomorrow!
