I agree, Bavanut, I will buy it to support 3d, but have no plans on ever watching it; once in the theater was enough! But maybe keeping it in the shrinkwrap might be a good idea that could pay off in the distant future.

This should be an interesting release... not usually my type of movie, but I'll certainly buy it and give it a watch out of curiosity. I'm sure it's pretty tame by today's standards.

After reading some more about this, I'm left wondering if the 3-D Blu-Ray release is the original, self-rated "X" version, or the later R cut. Anyone know?

I'm sorry to see this movie being released. These soft-core sex epics represent the bottom of the 3D barrel to me. Just my honest opinion.

While not everyone's cup of tea, it is historically significant as the highest-grossing 3-D film before AVATAR.

That being said, BO performance does not necessarily translate to quality film-making...

It's the same version released in anaglyphic 3-D on DVD in 2009.

According to Blu-ray.com's listing it was uncut, so that's good news. For a movie like this, as well as for B movies and the like, I prefer to watch the schlockiest possible version, which is generally the one not compromised for a particular rating.

Pre-Ordered.

I probably won't watch this more than once, since I prefer skin flicks that utilize more tongue-in-cheek humor. A good example of one from that era is Zeta One (1969), which never ceases to give me the giggles. This one is just plain weird and offbeat with no real rhyme or rhythm. I probably scratched my chin and shook my head more than 20 times the first time I saw it.

You might enjoy the humor found in the bonus short, Experiments in Love.

Run time 28 minutes? That's a long short.

Is that the one with the women in the lab? I believe it was shown the same night as The Stewardesses at the 2013 3-D Film Expo. That one was definitely more enjoyable that The Stewardesses. My memory is a bit foggy, so I can't be sure, LOL.

While I like to support 3D, and I don't have a problem with it being soft porn, I have a huge problem with the 30 dollar price tag for a C movie. Count me out.

Kino titles always start off with a high pre-order price then drop a bit at or just before the release date.

I could be wrong, Revgen, but isn't "The Stewardesses" being issued under the Redemption/Jezebel label? Or is that just a division of Kino?

I paid close to $50 for the field-sequential VHS tape- and it was worth it!

Putting 3D in the title automatically qualifies it as my kind of movie. It will fit on the shelf with all the others, from Avatar to World War Z.

I'm aware that The Stewardesses is not the only overpriced movie on the market. On the flip side, you can watch 4k hardcore free of charge on certain websites.
