Nice they're making this the final one. I like the series a lot, but each one has been a step down from the previous.

I finally got around to watching the third one and I'd say it was as good as the second. I'll be watching the spin-off soon as well since I liked his character a lot. I don't think they can top the first one but I've loved this series and I'll definitely be watching the finale when it comes out.

It's admirable that Ip Man: The Final Fight takes a different approach to the character than the other Ip Man films out there, but it lacks the excitement that made Ip Man and Ip Man 2 so entertaining...

Been saying for years that a 4th one wouldn't do anything for the franchise. Boy was I wrong, it could turn out either way. But I do hope it is the last one Donnie Yen makes. He should make more contemporary movies, which is why I'm looking forward to the one he'll start shooting next week.

Never seen any of these, but just want to point out that every time I come accross this thread title, I keep reading it as "Iron Man 4".

And I get a little sad every single time

Can't say I liked the first scene in the trailer (a little too Marvel for me) but the rest seemed good enough. Scott Adkins is great in everything so I welcome his addition to the series. The guy that they got to play Bruce looks very similar to him but let's hope he can act too.

I saw this earlier today in Dolby & it was pretty good. If y'all have seen the previous installments then you know what to expect. I felt this film was a little slower than the others in regards to pacing but the fight scenes where good. I am a little bummed we won't get to see Donnie again as Ip Man though. He is definitely one of the greats. I give it a 4/5 & would recommend it if you are a fan of the other films.

Pretty good. Was surprised by the immigration and racism subplots. Was a little more developed than the racist foreigner you usually get in these films. Scott Adkins was over the top though.

No disrespecting Bruce Lee in this one.
