Passing on Parents, but I'll definitely grab Lair of the White Worm.

Still no SLAUGHTER HIGH?

I can only comment on Lair, but it's somewhere between dark comedy and outrageousness. It's oozing with great atmosphere, too. It's one of the more unique horror movies I've seen, and my cousin recommended it to me because of my love for Cemetery Man, and I think its tone is a worthy comparison.

LAIR is an amazing flick. I watched it for the first time a couple October's ago for my 31 Days of Horror challenge and fell in love. I also cherish Cemetery Man. I never thought of the two being tonal cousins, but there's definitely some similarities. LAIR has a very Eurohorror sensibility.

Maybe it'll make the next batch? I have the UK DVD but don't even remember if it's region-free. I'd love to upgrade this one but I'm kind of hoping it gets pushed back in favor of something else.

Ken Russell is a bad, bad boy; Amanda Donohoe, whether drowning immobile boy scouts or spitting venom on a crucifix ( you can tell how much fun she's having) matches him beautifully. Campy,sexy and altogether delightful.

Also great to see Peter Capaldi and Hugh Grant in early roles- thank you, Vestron!

I'd go so far as to say that Ken Russell's LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM is excellent - it's quirky, violent, has some incredibly sexy scenes throughout and it's a totally unique trip. I know that this was heavily "rumored" to be coming, but now that we've got a date in place, I couldn't be happier - Vestron has really tapped into something unique here, and I hope they continue lend themselves to more of these titles.

Day one buy. The old DVD source looks pretty good despite the format's limitations, so I'd expect the Blu-ray to look really good too. Now bring on "Gothic!"

Definitely up for this. Always enjoyed this in the 90s plus it was shot very close to where I live.
