I am moist. Bar one screenshot, I get the impression these might be from early in the game. She has a different outfit to what we've seen in the renders and the shortened trailer.

This is going to be great!

Most anticipated game this year next to Bayonetta 3 for me. Please let it have HDR support for PS4 version this time.

Amazon is offering a standard edition steelbook (for the regular game price, $59.99, $47.99/prime). Croft edition steelbook is $89.99.

The game looks beautiful and I love her design in this game! September can't come soon enough! I think I might buy the collectors edition. (Which I guess would give us two of them, lol.)

I'm hoping for three things here:

-More mandatory puzzles/tombs in order to proceed
-More exploration possibilities
-No AI characters accompanying you while doing the above

Microsoft have released the trailer early.

Great stuff, although my excitement for the full reveal later has deflated now that I've essentially seen everything.

Hopefully they've got some gameplay footage to show us, but I'm thinking that the CGI trailer, box art and screenshots were the extent of it.

Various online previews have cropped up now that the embargo is lifted. Biggest takeaways from the demo:

- The story emphasises that Lara's tomb raiding can be destructive and selfish. She inadvertently causes a flood after retrieving an artifact, and even triggers an impending apocalypse (ala The Last Revelation).

- Underwater exploring is back - properly - for the first time since Underworld.

- The wall run from Anniversary and Underworld makes a comeback.

- Stealth is further emphasised. Lara can camouflage herself via the jungle environment.

This looks great to me! I loved the first two in this reboot series, so I'm definitely in for this.

I'll probably preorder the digital Croft edition as I like to show support for AAA single player games in this era of focusing on multiplayer and service games.

I've never pre-ordered a video game and only buy games that are used or super discounted but this is the first game I've been waiting for. A lot of comments on an article say that there's no point in pre-ordering a game because it will go down in price within 6 months and a definitive edition will be out within a year...BUT I decided early on that I wanted to get the steelbook/ultimate edition of this game.

What are the chances the steelbook/ultimate edition will go down in price before release or after release and still be in stock? Should I just pre-order since I want all the extras?

$199.99 seems a little steep. I'm kinda torn whether to buy it or not. I really do like that statue though, but it being a square Enix exclusive is...meh.

Count me as another who loved the first two games in the reboot series, so this is a very welcome one on my upcoming video game docket. Man, this fall is shaping up to me amazing for games. Unfortunately, it's right smack dab during football season.
