Most likely due to the horrendous 3D logo slapped on the front.

New artwork is awful. Much worse than original design. Have cancelled my copy.

Artwork has kind of put me off. It's pretty dull. It doesn't scream fantasy, magical or fantastic. I reckon I'll just go for the version that has the best looking slipcover.

Much better artwork imo. Some top notch comments here though

Not preordering it though. I'll wait til the price goes down after release. It's just not a good enough film for me to hunger after the steel.

I like the final artwork better too. The niffler cracked me up, and I think the image looks great. I have to wonder if the people who don't like have even seen the film? I could understand someone not liking it as much out of context.

I am less keen on just how much text is there for the title - it's a long title anyway, I don't think we needed the 'From J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World' or the '3D' bit. Personally I prefer title-less covers altogether in (and on) most cases, but at least they gave the super-long title on here some space compositionally. The actual 'Fantastic Beasts' text look wonderful over the black, IMHO.

I hope it's not a stacker though, it looks like there's only one disc holder but it should be (and lists) 2 discs... ?
