Forgot about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Hell or High Water! Revising my list again. I don't think Looper qualifies. It's too small a portion of the film.

Since it's not a defined genre, I just went through some of my favorite films, and thought of what came to mind. Probably a lot I'm forgetting.

1. Almost Famous (2000)
2. It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963)
3. Finding Nemo (2003)
4. Mad Max Fury Road (2015)
5. The Muppet Movie (1979)
6. Kikujiro (1999)
7. Hell or High Water (2016)
8. Zombieland (2009)
9. Into the Wild (2007)
10. La Strada (1954)
11. Paris, Texas (1984)
12. The Wizard of Oz (1939)
13. The Way (2010)
14. Dumb and Dumber (1994)
15. Wild Strawberries (1957)
16. A Goofy Movie (1995)
17. Bolt (2008)
18. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 (2010)
19. Sorcerer (1977)
20. Duel (1971)

I haven't see Stagecoach, but I'm not sure if that works because it's a western.

I don't know if I really consider Hell or High Water a road movie.

Well I think I'll let it slide since enough people are in agreement that it's a road movie.

Yeah it's kind of right there for me. Completely forgot to put the highly underrated 3000 Miles to Graceland on my list so I'm going to have to revise it. Never understood why this movie isn't better received.

So because a movie crosses into another genre, then it's suddenly questionable?
They travel along a road/path the entire movie while trying to get to their destination. I don't see why it shouldn't count, but I guess that is up to you.

Well I haven't seen it, but from you describing it I guess it fits the genre. Though when you get to that point people could start predicting things like The Searchers.

Didn't think there was enough "road" or driving in it to count, but it is a journey of sorts. If it's allowable, I'll probably add it to mine too.
