With you younger people, it is much different. You're still young enough to chase your dreams. I'm not going to say what to do, I don't want that responsibility, but it should be obvious.

Try not to be a person that is sitting there wondering to him/herself in twenty years, "What if I ...?"

I wish you the best in whatever you choose.

Can't believe my kids are so great. Can't believe i have a wife so beautiful and fun. Life is a blessing no matter what and you only live it once. I try to make the most of it.
Very similar to me as well, I'm 37 & will be retiring from the military in January 2018 after 20 years of service. My current motivation is to ensure my daughter who is currently attending Texas Tech is successful & has a better life than her mother & I. I know that my 'Ol Lady & I are excited aboot me being finished with the service so I can actually have a normal life with her. I know we will be doing some travelling after I retire. We going to some of places that I visted with the military but as a civilian.

Hawaii, Spain, France, Italy, Greece & the Bahamas are the top places we plan on going, which are all places I have been over my career. And everybody loves Grumpy Cat!

I fear this. I fear this a lot. I've tried a lot of things and haven't really wasted my time but I already catch myself worrying about choices constantly. Will have to try not to end up a nostalgic mess.
