I hope someone releases a BD of Zabriskie Point in NA someday too. I've held off on buying the DVD since it came so late in the DVD era and I hoped a BD would drop later.

Zabriskie Point was a very rare DVD purchase I made last year. I too hope it arrives on UHD along with Blow-Up. At least Blow-Up has a nice Blu-ray release.

What about the audio commentary by Peter Brunette that was on the WB DVD? Too bad it appears Criterion was not able/ won't be including it. It's a fine commentary.

The DVD also boasted a isolated score track, which would've been a welcome addition here (not that there is a whole lot of music in the film).

Curious what you found so worthwhile in that commentary. I remember it as being pretty lacking in any actual analysis or insights.
