Super weak year for films in general. Arguably nothing that will be remembered even 5 years from now, with 1 or 2 exceptions.

The Magnificent Seven was one of the worst I saw. What was Denzel Washington thinking when he agreed to do this terrible remake. Did you see the body count at the end. Awful..just awful.

What i really hate about SS is Tom Hardy in a different role then Bane. The guy is Bane and not Mr Boomerang. It is annoying to watch and Jared Leto was a weirdo as The Joker. I prefer Jerome from Gotham or Heath Ledger.

Worst I probably saw this year was Swiss Army Man. Just really didn't like that film. Closely followed by Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Ready to be ganged up on now.

2016 was a great year for movies, in my opinion, and I saw over 30 new films over the year.

In fact, the only movie that flat out underwhelmed me was Independence Day: Resurgence.

I'll start by saying there are plenty of high profile 2016 movies I still haven't seen. Hell or High Water, Manchester by the Sea, Moonlight, Fences, etc...

I loathed ID: Resurgence.

Thus far, my favorite films of the year are Arrival, Sing Street and Captain Fantastic, but I've actually found 2016 to be underwhelming.

I was meh about Sully (Clint did everything he could do with a story that struggled to fill a two hour narrative), La La Land (good, not great, it's musical numbers were mostly underwhelming) and Midnight Special (loved Take Shelter, really disliked this one).

But no film is worse than a pretentious bore... which brings me to...

I don't know if it's the worst but I was VERY disappointed in that one. It's a bad sign when half way through I was wishing I'd rather be watching Magnificent Seven Ride! than that.

Oh oops, I said earlier that my worst for 2015 was SW:TFA with a grade of C.

I forgot that I had watched Jupiter Ascending. I gave it a C-, and that was only because I love Mila Kunis, and because Redmayne was so awesomely over-the-top that he had me laughing on a regular basis. I mean, that was a performance for the ages.

Otherwise, I would have given it a D or D+. Anyways, just wanted to correct my earlier post.
