German version is an edited 76 min Rated FSK-18 version.

German version is an edited 76 min Rated FSK-18 version.
I've amended the listing to include the running times.

Yes, there is no longer cut than the R rated version (rated 18 in the UK). That version only got 2D and anaglyph 3D releases outside of Germany. There is a slightly shorter 2D cut on the UK DVD I have but I'm not sure if that made it to the US blu ray, and of course the FSK18 version is the shortest of all - watch that and you'll think your player is skipping...

Yes, Ratatouille is often erroneously listed as Region Free but it is most definitely Region B locked.

My concern is whether it has English subtitles, rare for a German release, but not unprecedented... if it isn't English friendly it isn't going on the list.

I know that Ghoul is labeled as being Region B but it's actually Region Free.

No problem playing it on my Region A player.

Hi Woodpost,

Again watched Ratatouille after recording it onto DVD-R about three years ago before I was into 3D. Though it is now ten years old, said to my wife I sensed it was something that was released in 3D. Sure enough, found it was and available in Europe on blu ray but only in region B.

Hi 13th,

Am sure I speak for many thanking you for all the hard work you're putting into to get this information out for us. What's most appreciative is taking the time to confirm for us what is actually region B and not all region for many titles that mislabel the information.

Thanks again "bloke" from your "matey" across the pond.

Germany Region B

Daybreakers .....was a lazy depth only autoconversion

Looked better with the normal TV 3D conversion.

The movie itself was just above average

Free Birds from ITALY is region free

You can add Little Hercules (Germany). It's labeled Region B but it plays in Region A players also.

Done - I've assumed it's an autoconversion...

I'd agree with that, the 3D is mild but there are some pop-outs.

It's done as well as Disney's conversions, not throwaway at all.

Pretty sure it's shot in 3D although I've never previewed it.

I see them on the BDinfo scan. You should be good. It looks like strong 3D.

Well, it's available for a few cents + postage so I guess I'll find out soon, I should have realised starting these threads would end up making me buy more crazy bad movies...

True. Especially when all the Euro sites specify that they will not ship the goods to the U.S.A.

I saw it was .08 euros so I started to order it, but then they wanted 15.5 euros to ship it to the US. I backed out.

Is Largo Winch English-friendly? I read that it had a lot of French dialogue on the English track, and no English subs on the German release...

Little Hercules is a cheesy movie primarily intended for small children.

But the 3D is native.

Thanks for heads-up! I always need to look for these alternate area's and obviously sometimes I can get overwhelmed concentrating too hard at the translations from other counties.
