Souvenir? Why are you even a member of a BD forum?

That's your opinion, and that's fair.

I agree with you about their prices!

As you well know, having kids and all the associated bills with home ownership you have to be more selective with any spare monies. I look at it like I could go to the flicks and see a movie or I can wait and get the BD for the same amount. I can watch it multiple times, I can watch it with the Mrs, I can peruse the extras.

I think I've been to the cinema twice this year (the Nick Cave flick and Star Wars: The Force Awakens). We have tickets for a trip next week and I'm seriously considering The Great Wall

Also, I'm old and shagged out so I'm usually too knackered after work etc. to go. Every night this week I've been in bed before 9.00
Why are you writing about me.....

Its 23 seconds - its stupid if you were planning to go and see it (and pay), simple as that TWENTY THREE SECONDS!!

Particularly if you would end up buying the blu ray when it was out as well anyway!

What if they cut off the last 23 seconds of the movie? Where is the line drawn on how much is ok to cut out and still pay full price? A minute? Two minutes? five minutes?

Exactly. If it's cut more than a second or so I refuse to see at the cinema. 23 seconds of cuts is way too much. As I posted earlier there was no reason Warner could not have taken the 18 uncut rating the BBFC offered them. The problem was they wanted the more commercial 15 rated so had to agree to cuts so they can earn more money selling tickets to 15 to 17 year olds.

Accepting this as an adult just encourages the distributors to cut even more films to get lower ratings whether 12A or 15 and hence sell more cinema tickets as larger potential audience.

I refuse to see this cut version, why should I pay to see a film that isn't complete? Tbh, it's only the fact that the UK is the only country where it is cut, if the whole world got the same version I would say fair enough.

That's why I respect David Ayer. He had the choice of cutting Suicide Squad to get a 12A rating but he said no. As far as I know, he's the only person who's had the balls to do so.

I saw this last night and thought it was very good. The censorship wasn't obvious at all to me; the scene played out very smoothly.

Keanu's thespian skills: 6/10.
Keanu's obvious skill and coolness with handling weapons and shooting/stabbing mofos: 10/10

No sign yet if the Blu-ray will be uncut over here or not yet.

Will only know once we see rating as 18 certificate if uncut not 15 of theatrical.

Kinda weird no steelbooks have been announced yet.

I was totally expecting Zavvi to fulfil it's obligation.

Anyhoo, Best Buy are releasing two pretty cool ones...

Well, I'm hoping they do the right thing and release it as originally intended / uncut.

If it does indeed end up being cut, it'll a real shame.

Expect a massive backlash as fans would probably go John Wick on WB!!
