Uhm... Mine got shipped from Amazon US today with an expected delivery on Monday (I live in Sweden)

I've gotten so used to Amazon shipping my pre-orders days or weeks after the actual release date that this took me completely by surprise!

I wonder if I have to keep a look out for possible further price reductions until the actual release date?

In the United States, Homeland the complete 6th season was not suppose to be released on Blu-ray until Feb. 6th 2018 according to the Blu-ray.com database. However a family member that collects this series received it on Jan 29th 2018 in the mail from Amazon. Perhaps the official release date was moved to late Jan.

I'm not sure but I remember getting at least 2 seasons for $19.99 not all that long after they were released. That was from Target.

I didn't purchase Seasons 1 and 2 during release week. Pretty sure I pre-ordered Seasons 3-5 though. My order history from Amazon.com shown below.

Anyone have any word on when Season 7 will hit Blu? The last two seasons were released in the early part of the year (Jan/Feb) but haven't heard anything on Season 7 as yet.

Sadly, season 7 will be DVD only for us in US/Canada. I think Homeland might be the last series Fox cut back to DVD only. They're the absolute worst when it comes to home media.

Got my season 7 from Amazon.co.uk today, based on reviews that say 7 is region free (unlike 6 which was region B locked). It is in a thick UK case and by now there’s no slip (since the UK sensibly releases shows when seasons end) but thank goodness for England.

I haven’t tested it myself to be sure it is region free but plenty of people on amazon say it is.

Having seen some reviews on Amazon that it was region free, I have been wanting to buy this but was waiting for some confirmation here that it is region free. Once you confirm that it is, please let us know as I, personally, would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

As for Fox cutting this back to DVD only, I haven't seen that confirmed, but if it is, all the more reason to get this from the UK.

Almost all of Fox shows are DVD only now. This one is really stupid as there is already 6 seasons on Blu-ray and the show is almost over. You would think they would finish the shown on Blu-ray since it's almost over.
