Spotgloss on the title and symbols would have been the tits, but these are still really nice

Price will be the determining factor here. We've already discussed how the .it set is ~$41 shipped to US. I know shipping alone on this will cost over $15 because that's how much the boxset for Shaun of the Dead was. So already not looking too good

That's going to have to be one killer Book of the Dead container

Yeah, after my pre-calculations I think the EverythingBlu boxset will be cca double the price of the three IT steels, postage including. So yeah, like you said, it´s better to be one hell of a Book Of The Dead

I had given up collecting steelbooks except for Disneys but this set might drag me out of retirement.

Those Mummy steels look amazing! WOW!

Do the Italian steelbooks have the same embossing and detail as these UK exclusives? I read that the German editions are flat and have titles in German language.

This set from Everythingblu will definitely be expensive. I probably will just buy the Italian releases.

The Italian set should be the same. We haven't heard anything different that says otherwise.

I am going to preorder the Italian Mummy steelbook trio.

Might cancel and go with this set but only if it blows me out of my pants and it the price is reasonable.

Okay I placed the order on Amazon Italy, but the hookers raised the price on the first Mummy while the other two are still much cheaper. Hopefully the price on the first Mummy will come down again. Lots of time before release day. I also selected Priority

Mummy = EUR 15,41
The Mummy: The Return = EUR 11,43
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor = EUR 11,43

Amazon Global Priority shipping = EUR 12,00

Total: EUR 50,27 (about $54 US dollars shipped)

Again, I'm hoping the first Mummy comes down in price again.

=======

I also hope these three steelbooks will be packed well enough so they don't get mutilated in shipping. Amazon is frequently TERRIBLE when it comes to packing items for shipping.

My last 18 steelbooks from Amazon Italy were dented, dinged, mangled & some utterly destroyed...needless to say no more steelbooks from Italy for me. I even ordered 6 steelbooks at once figuring they would send in a box....nope sent in a large cardboard envelope with no protection...they resent promising to send in a box...no another cardboard envelope...one was even bent in a u shape! They are imbeciles.

Go back in and change the shipping to the Global Priority. For 2 extra you get somewhat expedited shipping and it's trackable.

Amazon really needs to correct the utter waste and loss that results from inadequate packaging practices. For the buyer, receiving damaged steelbooks is intensely disappointing and sometimes they are sold out so there's not even a chance to get a replacement.

I am very concerned that my order for these three Mummy steelbooks might arrived damaged. I will hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

That's what I chose for shipping. It was only 2 Euros more than the usual slow shipping.

Thanks for looking out!

How come my prices to NL are higher? I have Mummy for full price EUR 18,80, and the other two for EUR 13,94, what the hell is that supposed to mean?

I believe it is cheaper for the USA because the VAT tax surcharge is removed.
