Smile I Love my Mitsubishi DLP HDTV

I bought my 57 inch 1080P Mitsubishi HDTV in Nov 06. Still using the same bulb and I really do not see how the picture can be any better. Clear, bright, and detailed. This DLP set was made for showing off your BR titles. I have no buyer's remorse at all, in fact I talk about my DLP TU to everyone. I got a 57 inch HDTV 1080P for under $2000 about 14 months ago. What's not to love? As big as it is, it only weighs 86 lbs. Easy to move around when needed and the base is only 18.2 inches wide. Whenever I decide to get another set, I have been looking at a 65 inch DLP from Mitsubishi. I heard that it is tough to go back to a smaller size.

Bottom Line: I don't who feed you that old technology story, but DLPs are great TVs.

My 71" is one of the best investments ever! Bought online w/ a good lamp/warranty plan, for 1,000 less than local retal! (and 6months before they even sold them!) Going on 2 years now with my model, never had a problem. Solid unit, and had it professionally calibrated! People come over now and say the thing makes tv look 3D! You wont be sorry. Make sure you have the proper distance though. I'm 13' away.... simply perfect!

I bought a 61" Samsung 1080p DLP in July of 06, still on the original lamp, still looks great. All Blu-Ray movies look great and the best quality Blu-Ray's come alive on it. Couldn't be happier.
