I just got an email from PayPal stating Steelarchive has just sent me a refund for ~€50. Anyone else (who ordered this) have this happen? Any ideas why? Thought I'd check here first to see if it had been cancelled or something Will fire off an email to Steelarchive in a second.

Also received a refund from Paypal. Maybe it's due to the site being down for maintenance or taking a charge without the item being shipped yet.

It's probably safe to send them an e-mail just to be on the safe side

At one point it did state 500 units and sold out, but since then it's been available and changed to 1000 units for this release.

Hmmm. Just fired off an email to support@steelarchive.de but got automatic response stating that address was not valid. Tried again to mail@steelarchive.de but same 'invalid address' response. You're right; the site is down; I'll try again later once they're back online. Hope they've not cancelled my order; this is one of my most long-awaited Steelbooks!..

The entire Prisoners project was withdrawn from the studio on Friday. There were some problems or inconsistencies in the distribution. Also the basic edition under the Prisoners was approved, was changed afterwards.

Since we were not willing to produce this title under the changed conditions, we decided to end the entire project after long talks.

Scheisse. I wonder if it was their own design, therefore unlikely to be picked up by any other distributor? Or perhaps a more wide-ranging design for potentially other countries? I know they seem to have had 'creative differences' with the studio but maybe another distributor might be more willing to accept those changes and release this? I wonder what the changes were...
