This was pretty compelling. The creatures looked very good. Will definitely check out the rest when they release it.

Actually, no. It's completely optional (obviously), and they'll keep going even if no one pays. And if you didn't like this first short, who knows, you might like the others.

Yeah, having liked District 9 but Disliked Elysium and Chappie, I'm thinking the guy is a one trick pony. This short just confirms that for me.

Of all the movies he's made so far I only like Elysium, because it makes me think of this old anime called Battle Angel: Alita, which has a similar story.
