This is down to around £5 now from Amazon UK marketplace sellers. Just ordered a copy, I’ve never seen it before.

I blind bought this when it was around for £8 and it's really good, really fun and for me, had definite rewatch value.

Also went for this earlier. Was gonna see how low it might drop to but decided to bite rather than regret it when the seller realises and puts the price back up...figure I've paid a fiver for the other few 101 titles I have, so it's a fair price for a blind-buy.

I wasn’t sure whether to pay more and import the Shout version for the extras, but £5 is really cheap, and as I’ve never seen it before like yourself, it seemed a better idea. Hope the video quality is decent, there’s no bad comments in this thread so far about it, other than the disc playing the start of the film again after the credits.

Yeah, but I think that’s the master, there’s a lot of people in the US Shout thread moaning about how it looks very, very soft. As long as it’s encoded well, or at least decently, I’ll be cool.

I'm still not entirely sure if they've got to the bottom of just which master was actually used for the Shout release.

Either way, I hadn't seen the movie in a while so I was just glad to see it, and it was adequate enough I guess, but it certainly won't win any awards.

Just saw the UK release and it looks dreadful. Anyone know if the German disc (Koch Media) is much better? Apparently it beats the Shout Factory.

I have the 101 Release too. Its not great. Also, let the film roll past the end credits. Notice anything?

I want to get another release of this film. It's so good, I enjoyed the heck out of it. German Mediabook is the one to get so?

Well from those caps The German looks better and has a maxed out bitrate but only 16bit on the sound , The shout factory is almost blurry or scrubbed of grain . The 101 films UK has some really bad reviews . There is a French edition with a really low bitrate I would stay away from . Maybe someone knows more about these . This definitely needs a new scan .
