This is awesome, but....the price of collecting all these WILL add up. Fast.

I have this weird feeling that sometime next year they'll release an ultimate box set (maybe with universal remote sonic sunglasses? lol) that will include Capaldi's run. And that might feature this art style for the covers. Won't be steelbooks, but still nice.

So....I'll wait. This is nice, but getting all of them will end up costing over $600.

Damn that's one sexy looking Doctor Who steelbook *drools*. Does Amazon UK ship to the US or do US customers have to get these some other way?

Most Amazon's ship to the US. UK, Germany, Italy, etc. And because we don't pay UK taxes, the shipping really isn't TOO expensive.

I'm with Captain Webber. I think these are nice, but I paid almost half of what they are asking for Season 2, for my Season 1 steel. And I don't HAVE to have this Tennent steel, unless the price is right. A simple fact I'm having to learn about ALL steelbooks, since I don't have the money to make my collection even grander like I used to.

I bought the 7 Season Limited Edition box set. Not because I knew it would be as rare as it was, but because I'd enjoyed the new show and wanted the discs. I got it as cheap as I could, about $250, from a non-Amazon web site. If I don't rebuy them all as steels, I'll be ok. Doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy owning them all.

The series 9 SB is region B for sure and the listings on this site say series 1 and 2 SBs are also region B but the packaging doesn't say.

I just had my zoom dispatch email today. So hopefully this week. Was the cheapest at £23.99 for me.

When side-by-side with the release for Series One, they both compliment each other nicely and I can't wait to (hopefully) see the remaining series re-released!

Just recieved my copy via UPS here in the States. Arrived in perfect condition, no dings. Playback of the stories and extras worked fine on my X-Box One (just like the steelbook version of series one).

How do they compare on the spines? Do they also match up with the Series 9 release ?
