The industry has seen that 3D in the home isn't as popular as they thought it would be. 3D is phasing out. It's a failed experiment for them.

Yeah, mine kind of does/does not do that as well. And I agree and have been vocal before about the ever increasing prices (and the selective releases) of these steelbooks here in Canada. I'm pretty much done ordering anything from Best Buy, unless there's really no other choice. Most of my purchasing dollars goes to importing titles from around the world.

Why does it not close? I haven't opened mine yet, but they are pretty tightly closed.

I went through 2 that don't close properly. Returned them both. The spines weren't properly lined up.

My online order arrived today and it was sealed wrong... looks like the closing edge plastic pieces are destroyed so I got a replacement in-store today. No spine-slash, yay!

Hmm... mine appears to have something funky going on with the spine too... I haven't opened mine, but now I'm terrified that I'm too late to get a replacement.

FWIW the online stock checker said all stores here were sold out, but there were 5 copies when I went yesterday.

Does Best Buy take in exchanges for this kind of thing?
