I don't see them announcing at CES... what I DO hope they announce are all the missing BD titles, like Batman Begins, V for Vendetta, Matrix trilogy, etc.

while i don't think they'll announce at ces. i would see it as a huge slap in the face if they made the decision after ces. not that it matters to us since theyll go blu right haha

No announcement for Warner, too soon. I think they were expecting a much larger gap from xmas but the $99 players made it close enough to put off making this decision just yet.

Indiana Jones on Hidef would seem likely to coincide with the new movie this year. Maybe Star Wars???

While none of these announcements would surprise me the one I am looking for is a BD exclusive release of The Invasion which is WBs only major new release until the end of March. This could be an overt or covert declaration of future intentions.

as much as I would like Warner to make that announcement, I dont want to set myself up for disappointment.

I wouldnt rule out the MS's possibility of a new SKU of Xbox360 with HD DVD build in, although I agree its a bad decision to implement such a thing at such late release of the original SKU.

if the 360 had a HD DVD drive built-in...that would make the 360 more expensive than the PS3...

right now they can put a HD-DVD player in the 360 and keep the price at 350...

I hope they make some kind of announcement for those titles soon. Waiting is becoming painful.

Default Where Are Batman Begins and The Matrix Trilogy?

If Warner can't get over it's commitment issues, the least they could do is annouce a firm release date for Batman Begins and The Matrix Trilogy on Blu-Ray already.

Warner Bros. must announce a release date for Batman Begins and The Matrix Trilogy. They have no other option but to release these films on Blu-ray...

Surely this show is a hardware show. What do you guys expect to see from the CE companies with regards to new players?

+1. CES is a big joke. Each side will announce new players, new releases and will beat their chests and brag about numbers. End of show. I personally only care if WB announces Batman and Matrix for Blu-ray. That's all I have my hopes up for.

The only differences between the Rated and Unrated are:

(1) When they are in the cop car and Justin Long recognizes the female voice over the radio Bruce Willis says "how about I come over there and kick your ass f*ck stick" where as this is edited in Rated.

(2) When he uses the car to blow up the helicopter the catch line in Rated is "I was out of bullets" and it's slightly different in Unrated.

(3) At the end of the movie in the Rated version he says Yippie Kay Yay Mother *bang* gun shot. Unrated is Yippe Kay Yay Mother F*ucker *bang*

Really not a huge deal and worth *waiting* for. I'd say just buy the movie now.
