No, bare bones. Only menu selections are the movie and subtitles. Subtitles come on automatically.

Lots of the double feature version still available.

I'm watching this now, even by MC standards this is pretty rough. Macro-blocking on everything, on medium shots it's like there's a forcefield of compression artifacts surrounding the actors (not helped by some amount of sharpening). As would be expected it's Mpeg-2, the audio is DD 2.0 384. I feel like MC gets worse all the time, I don't remember the compression being this bad on Glitter or White Line Fever (which was a 3-on-1 deal). I've not seen the movie before so I don't begrudge the $10 but this is ugly and MC should be expected to do better than this.

Thanks - does anyone know if the individual releases/double-feature are identical in terms of encoding/transfers, or were the singles BD50s?

Why do they even bother? A waste. Just cancelled the preorder.

Hamilton Book has this for $2.95 each. They have a few other MC multi-feature sets hovering around that price too, and lots of other good deals as well.

You should have bought the DVD, and it probably would have looked better than the blu-ray upscaled. You can sell the blu-ray on ebay and get rid of it, and at least get part of your money back.

The screenshots of this don't show anything that looks alarmingly bad, in fact, a lot of the shots look really nice and tight and have a fine grain so I'm confused. I thought for sure I knew what to look for as far as a bad transfer went, but this is not what I'm used to seeing to be any indicator of a botch job. Must be "in motion" where it turns ugly. If there was no scathing review and I only saw the screen caps, I'd buy this with confidence. I think I need a blu ray tutor.

My thoughts exactly 😂 I’m so confused. I think the film looks pretty amazing from the caps. I think I’m gonna buy it . See what I think for myself

If you don't pick up on the digital soup surrounding Cher in a cap like this:

[Show spoiler]

Then you very well might be happy with this disc. Projection can certainly be unforgiving when it comes to things like EE and compression issues (a wall of digital mess can be hard not to see), I admit that I am envious of people who can look at caps for this and Baseketball and say they look great.

people I have the DVD on now via an Oppo 203. Moderate your expectations, the movie is quite acceptable. The blu-ray frame grab is most unrepresentative

I picked this one up a while and this reminds me to watch it soon. I enjoyed this one back in the 80s and haven't seen it so long.

I really like this movie, it's so underrated, maybe because of Cher, but wow, it's a really great movie.

Is there any chance for a real special edition from KL anytime soon?
