I'm not sure either ever sold out. I always see the Lenticular slip on the front page, which is pretty surprising. I would have thought both would have sold out pretty quick (though thought the same thing about the Moana releases).

Ya they never went out of stock. Just like Moana they had a previous non numbered steelbook that probably affected sales on the numbered versions.

I did think I had seen them out of stock at some time. I could be wrong.

I really do think both were.

But now everyone is probably waiting for Blufans anyway.

I mentioned in the French Thread Section that another beautiful release of BatB is the one directed by Chris Ganz (same guy who did Brotherhood of the Wolf).
Now all releases (so far) are in French, without English subtitles but anyone familiar with the storyline (95% of NA and Europe) would be able to follow along without any difficulty.
I'd say the production values are on par with the Disney release.
I picked up this edition a while back from Amazon.Fr.

It is absolutely stunning!
HUGE coffee table book housing 3 discs.

Highly recommended!

I would have bought the lenti, but for some reason they brightened the colors on the artwork.

I bought 2 copies of the Lenti, one for myself and one for my Daughter and Grand-Daughter.
I think it's a gorgeous release and I'll probably pass on the Blufans since I'm quite satisfied with the Kimchi.

I've already got the Filmarena full slip which is the same as the Kimchi lenti (front and back) except that it's not a lenti. So I got the Kimchi full slip which I think is quite beautiful.

The FAC release is quite beautiful. Is anything embossed besides the title and rose? Thanks!

I like the Kimchi full slip, but the color isn't my favorite. I'm sure it's stunning in person.

No, it's just the title (including "Disney") and the rose on the front of the full slip. Also "Disney," the title and the Blu-ray logo on the side.

I don't have it yet because I just ordered it a few days ago. But I've got enough of B&tB in blue and I immediately loved the gold when the first pictures came out. But I told myself I didn't need it.

Then I thought it did go out of stock and I couldn't get it (except on eBay). Then I looked recently, it was available and I decided I did "need" it.

I really have to pass on Blufans.

But I do love this film.

I'll probably just go with the Blufans, as I have multiple copies of the WWA. The FAC slip is probably my favorite, but the BF double lenti title cover will be the most impressive. You and Gorgon are going to regret it.

Please post pics when you receive the full slip.

Sorry, I'm an old guy of 71 and I don't know how to post pics (that I take). Please don't try to explain it to me. Did I mention I'm 71?

The SB front of the Kimchi is the same as the FAC but at least the back is different.

The Blufans full slip and single lenti are definitely different but I don't particularly care for either one. The double lenti is gorgeous, but I do (or will) have almost all of those images (or something close to them) somewhere on the Kimchi and FAC.

But I probably will regret passing on the Blufans. If I do.
