I wouldn't expect Luke Cage and Iron Fist until probably next Christmas.
That cover is the same as the Zavvi Steelbook cover. I think 24.99 was the cheapest I saw Daredevil season 1 so I wouldn't expect them to go down too much.
All I'm hoping for is they include some extras and no stacked discs, that is annoying

Now that Amazon has halted preorders, will they still honor already-placed orders?

I ended up ordering the UK region free versions of this and Daredevil Season 2 today...I'm really confused on the availability issue here in the states, so, I just couldn't wait..

I've only seen the UK steel cover, which is the same this one. Is standard blu a different cover?

Looks like JJ will be on dvd and blu ray. Kind weird since Daredevil S1 didn't get a dvd release.

Yes, I know. But the UK discs are region free, have been out for months, and are cheaper. These are the exact same discs the US will get, and the British releases even get a better case; the US discs are stacked, the UK are not. If these were region locked, I could understand it. But they ain't, and I just don't get the reluctance of some folks here to buy from overseas stores.

Not me, my only issue is playing locked discs, but I buy from Zavvi and eBay, and there's a particular cover of Miami Magma I want, that's only available outside the US, especially since it's a standalone title. And that JJ S1 steel. Sadly I missed out on the DD S2 steel,

I don't think it's that they are reluctant or just don't want to, they just want Disney to realize people in the US still give a crap about these releases... the reason they are so ready to release it in the UK and not in the US now is because they let Amazon have AoS s2 and Agent Carter s1 and they jacked the prices up so people just imported which made Disney think the UK cares so much more but in reality the big sales jump is most likely from US customers.

I'm not against the UK releases, I just would rather supposed a domestic option if possible or else one day Disney might think the US doesn't care about physical media in general.

I think it has more to do with the fact that the US has a lot better potential when it comes to streaming than the rest of the world. Europe is a licensing nightmare, where each country has their own laws, rules and distributor rights making it hard for a lot of this stuff to reach digital.
The US has far more consistency in that regard, so they probably figure that they'll make more money from streaming than physical, and since most companies actually want us to go digital, it makes sense to bit by bit, try to get people over there. Disney have started with some online only-material on their discs for example. One step on the way...

But, y'know, different tastes...
This cover's actually done by David Mack. The cover artist for the original Alias comic and the new Jessica Jones comic.

Eh, if it's not on disc I will never pay money for it. Only way to be sure it never is taken from you is physical media.

This was pre-orderable on bestbuy.com right? Seems they pulled an Amazon and made it so you can't pre-order anymore, it just says "coming soon" now.

I don't think the Blu has ever said Pre Order.....The DVD has always been a Pre Order, though...It's pretty weird..
