I'm positive A24 is simply looking at it from its 7/7/17 release date, and from there, the home video release date is very much in line with many of their other releases. In fact, it is the exact number of days between theatrical and BD release as Free Fire.

Moonlight had a theatrical release date of October 23rd and the BD was released on February of this year, that was 4 full months. Only because word of mouth was strong so the studio elongated the home video release which lead to coincide with the Oscars. This one wont have an audience so releasing it 2 months (almost 3) from now seems appropriate.

You also had this playing in your area since the 7th of this month. I'm just hoping you took advantage of that. I've been meaning to watch it since you guys got it.

What exactly are you pointing out? Moonlight was an exception because it was campaigning for the Oscars, and of course it ultimately won Best Picture.

I just watched this, totally amazing. I do have question if someone wouldn't mind taking time out to answer. I am confused on what happened after he

[Show spoiler] jumped off the building. Did time just go in an infinite loop? Or is time just a concept for humans and spirits aren't constrained to the same laws of time as us?

Really confused on that part.

Also about the note in the wall.

Thanks guys! Really beautiful film about love and loss and the amount of time it takes to get over someone. The score and cinematography were top notch as well.

A bit like when Bill Murrey whispers in Scarlett Johansson's ear at the end of Lost in Translation, we'll never find out what was on the note that set him free. It's for the viewer to decide.

What are the odds of this being region free release?

I truly do not see this getting a Blu release in Australia whenever it is released, so importing this is the only way I'll get it imagine.

I bought both Power Rangers and Yu-Gi-Oh! DSOD this year which are region A only and they were Lionsgate releases too. I wouldn't expect this to be region free.
