I noticed that. I understand that I'll never be able to not go to Gamestop at all as long as I'm into video games, but I have managed to reduce my expenditures there considerably. I'll allow myself a little spending there for Secret of Mana.

I despise Gamestop as well. This will be the first game I buy from them in almost a decade. You can be sure this release will be a collector's item with the limited run.

Secret Of Mana is my favorite old school RPG (aside from Final Fantasy IV / VI) so to get an HD remake 25 years later was a wonderful surprise. I just got Popoi and Primm in my party tonight so it will be awhile before I finish the game.

I know people have their reservations since its not easy to do with this with a classic game. Its A LOT to live up to, but I can assure you they did justice updating everything to 3D. The graphics are simply wonderful. Both in-game and the beginning animations.

The only drawback so far is some of the voice acting is left to be desired (Randi sounds like a wuss. Popoi is voiced by a woman.), but you can turn it off to get the vintage mute feeling back I think. The best part is you can play the original music AND you can play multi-player with 2 other friends just like the Super Nintendo days! All you have to do is turn on two other controllers and sign into their PSN accounts or guest.

I highly recommend picking this up either by physical copy or digital download.

Wonder if the final version will have lip flaps.

They don't, but I think it was intentional to stay true to the original. Its weird, but you get used to it after awhile.

I got the Plat a few days ago.

Good game, but the amount of CE-34878-0 crashes I had was insane, as have numerous other people. The hit detection was also pretty atrocious.

Hopefully the patch should smooth things out.

I never played the original but, going by the comments on a couple of trophy forums I visit, it’s worse than the original.

Seeing that word ‘Miss’ on the screen during a huge percentage of all attacks is pretty harsh and can become infuriating!
