Gee, what a coincidence that they announced Jared Leto was never attached to the film right after Brett Ratner was accused for sexual harassment.

Hmmm...what would Hefner think of all this sexual misconduct in Hollywood ruining his biopic about empowering man’s carnal nature, marginalizing women, and luring aspiring young models and actresses into bed with the promise of stardom and riches in return? He’d be so ashamed......

I only wanted to see the film for the articles anyways.

Leto went method for Blade Runner, he was still blind when he signed on to this movie.

I get that he recently passed away, so they're trying to capitalize on things...but I feel like this is not the time, place, or climate to be making a film about a womanizer that made looking at naked photos of women, and viewing women as sexual objects rather than people the "norm".

I was going to say the same thing earlier as well. A Hugh Hefner biopic isn't really appropriate right now. That's why I made that comment basically saying that this film probably isn't going to happen. Even if Brett Ranter wasn't accused of anything, studios would think twice after everything that has been happening in Hollyweird.

This was mostly directed at Jacobsever. He and others like him are so quick to put a label on the guy as a womanizer and this and that but there's more to the man than what many people may think.

You and others like you are sooo quick to pass judgement on the guy when there was more to him than many might think or believe.
BTW, don't act like women don't view men like Channing Tatum, The Chippendales/Thunder from Down Under or any of the popular male hunks as sexual objects than people either. It makes you look like a hypocrite.
