I'd like to buy this, but can anybody give me any info about extras and a/v quality of the master? I've noticed that the KimchiDVD edition has a BD50 while this and all European releases have just a BD25, so maybe there are differences between the two releases.

I had it but sold it as it was a blind buy and didn’t particularly enjoy it.
I can’t recall what extras were on it(I guess whatever is listed on the standard BD)but the audio and picture were very good,I remember that much.

I have both and I didn't notice any significant differences in terms of A/V quality.

In terms of features this release has the commentary track and the deleted scenes in HD. The KimchiDVD release has that in addition to a very brief EPK that's on the US release and a Korean critic commentary track with no subtitles (so unless you speak Korean it's useless).
