Finally beat FF X this weekend again, going to give this another go, hopefully it'll be one of those rare non-Pokemon RPGs I beat lol.

I finally found another one of those weird weed things that let you open more of the map when you beat them and the thing killed me with a super attack lol. Guess I'll look some more in the morning when I'm over being wiped out.

I'd be all for it. Enjoyed the game, but it ran like garbage on the switch.

The switch is such a fantastic system, but it's reached the end of it's lifespan for most games .

At least PS4 and PC are all but confirmed. At this point, why not also the latest consoles? If a "complete edition" is about to be announced tomorrow, then I think Atlus will soon upload a trailer that confirms ports to other systems as well.

It's also a matter of optimization. SMTV should be able to run better on Switch, it's just a question of whether they want to put in the work. Fingers crossed a complete edition brings improved performance, even if that may be unlikely.

I am not sure why it would be on the Nintendo Direct unless it is on Switch 2 only.

It would be on the Direct because it would come to Switch as well. It's an expanded edition of the same game, it has sold very well on Switch, of course there will be a Switch version, and Nintendo would want to market it.

Being announced at a Direct doesn't mean it won't come to other systems too. Similar to how it was Microsoft who announced Persona 3 Reload at an Xbox Showcase, but it's still coming to PlayStation and reportedly Switch as well.

There were no Megami Tensei-related announcements at all, mainline or Persona, at the Direct, which I admit surprised me somewhat. But as you say, just because they didn't show up here doesn't mean they aren't coming.

For some reason I am not surprised there wasn't any SMT. Why start having any SMT during the SMT 30th anniversary.

Might replay a remastered version if it comes out on game pass like every other SMT game, but I probably won't be rebuying anytime soon. I did beat this game and enjoyed it, but SMT3 is still the GOAT. I need to get around to actually replaying that, but FF16 comes out tomorrow and I still haven't started TotK... so, yeah.

Well if this "Complete Edition" is real then I hope...
-That the game will be on PS4, PS5, PC, X-Box, etc.
-We get more story, more characters, character development, more endings, etc.
-We get 50+ more "new" demons.
-We get more spells/skills, items, etc.
-We get more places to explore, optional dungeons, etc.
-That you can carry more then one of the same kind of essence.
-A female main character option.

Anime Expo is this weekend and while I doubt we will get anything for SMT5(or anything SMT related at all) I hope I am wrong and they surprise me(in a good way).
