Hopefully the Star Wars titles were filmed in native 4K. They are the obvious ones to be released ASAP. They should benefit greatly by a UHD 4K release. I don't see the other Disney titles being improved that much. The Pixar and similar recent titles already look amazing when playing them with a good 4K player on a good 4K TV.

I know the remake of 'Pete's Dragon' underperformed at the box office, but I'd really like to own this in 4K with the beautiful Dolby Atmos mix

true but technically it's more than 4K - I'd be more inbetween 5K and 6K if you were to give it a resolution number.

am so looking forward to the new Mary Poppins movie this coming December - my fingers are crossed that the original gets a 4K UHD release along side the home video release of 'Returns' next year.

Couldn't agree more.

For me - any Disney animated classic released photochemically on film should benefit from the 4K UHD treatment.
The CAPS films should benefit from HDR as well even if the resolution is simply upscaled.

The ones I'm most excited to see would be Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Fantasia, Pinocchio, Lion King, Beauty/Beast, Aladdin.

All of them eventually under the proviso that they go back to the original elements and undertake a proper 4K scan with no DNR or crap enhancements that scrub out the original line work.

I still can’t get over the blu ray abominations of Cinderella and Sword in the Stone.

Live action wise put me down for Tron, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and hopefully The Black Hole and 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.
