The entire reason Best Buy released the new Suicide Squad, BvS and MoS steelbooks was to match up artwork-wise with the Wonder Woman steelbook. You can probably expect Justice League to follow tradition here.

I own both illustrated and non illustrated Steelbooks from these so either way it goes it’ll match up in the collection nicely

I'm loving the 4K/2D bundles as I've only upgraded the TV in my media room to 4K so far and I avoided 3D out of fear it was a passing fad.

Yet the 3D version is the superior way to watch the Marvel releases that have the expanding IMAX ratios. Not sure if JL will have the same IMAX ratios in their 3D version.

I just watched the most recent episode of Gotham on DVR last night and the JL cast did the intro to the show, and I was just thinking of when we would start hearing about store exclusives.
I now have my answer. Just need a Target exclsuvie Lenti digibook and all will be well with the cosmos!

Agreed!!!

Warner bros. has been so reliable with their U.S. DC Steelbook and Digibook exclusives, that I've picked up both for each film, despite my reservations of their wavering quality. As long as they continue with both packaging types, and the movies are at least decently entertaining, I plan to be their loyal customer.

Wait…what Marvel films have home releases with expanding IMAX ratios? I don't recall any of the doing that.

Civil War, GOTG, GOTG Vol 2 (I think)

Those are the only ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Guardians Of The Galaxy 1 & 2 and Doctor Strange had expanded IMAX scenes on the 3D blu rays. Not sure if any of the other ones did. We'll have to wait and see if they do on Thor Ragnarock.....so far no north american 3D pre orders up but have the UK one preordered.

GOTG, GOTGV2, Civil War, and Doctor Strange. The 3D discs have alternating IMAX aspect ratios.

Do you guys think the 4K steel will sell out near release? I haven't seen the movie yet, but I heard the reviews weren't that great. Suicide Squad had similar reviews and their 4K steelbook was in stores/online for quite a while until their price drop...

I'd like to buy it eventually, but March is going to be an expensive month for me.

Well, since I refuse to buy live action movie steelbooks with comic artwork I am hoping somewhere else in the world has a real steelbook to offer.

Looks like Jim Lee's artwork.... made to accompany the steelbook reissues of MoS and BvS.
