Sad, no stand alone Breakout bluray.

Thank you Mill Creek.

I hope they go bankrupt

Hard Times and The Stone Killer will be from the same master as Twilight Time since Sony is providing them.

So, I wonder why TT passed on Breakout. I had read that they were waiting on a new remaster from Sony. Was a new one not made? Or did they just change their minds on licensing it?

Maybe Sony is shuffling their licensing deals especially with 4K and digital splitting home video four ways.

I'd rather buy all 4 movies for 8 bucks on release day then spend 35 each from Twilight Time.

Just a wild guess, but they perhaps passed because it's rumored to be coming from Indicator in the next few months. Indicator's release of "The Stone Killer" probably cut into TT's sales on that title by quite a bit, given that it's region free and cheaper.

That's a good theory, and you could definitely be right about that.

They could of released Breakout by itself, but they rather give the best treatment
to Leonard Part 6, Shakes The Clown, Yor and the Benji movies.

I wouldn't.... if I'm going to buy a movie I want a quality release...

and let's stop the BS about Twilight titles being $35

Yes, that's how it was when they started, but every single title I've wanted for the past few years has been readily available at price points of $19.95 or less with sales.... (frequent sales I might add)

Okay so with a sale it's 25 shipped each. So still 4 movies for 8 bucks is better then 25 for one? Especially if they're using the twilight time transfers.

Love Bronson! I own about ten of his films on Blu, my favorites of which are HARD TIMES, DEATH WISH, and MR. MAJESTYK. I'd love to see TELEFON come to BD as well, especially via Twilight Time or Kino Lorber. In my opinion, Mill Creek ranges from "okay" to "very good" as far as picture quality is concerned, but they usually do not offer SDH – which I require.

This release will boost my Bronson collection up to 14 films.

2 things though--- many of the titles go for under $19.95...

secondly (and most important) -- they may be the same transfer but combining 4 titles on a single disc with a much lower bit rate offers substantially lower PQ quality.............

Its a two disc set not one. 2 movies per disc.

It's supposed to be 2 disc. Probably without bonus features, but oh well..

It is NOT one disc, it is two discs, of not very long films, from Sony provided transfers that were the same ones TT used. And, yes, it will likely be dirt cheap. Plus, the US blu debut of one title.

I'm definitely in.

well, I hope the PQ quality is decent, it's common knowledge that Mill Creek offerings are not upper tier.

I'm a big Bronson fan and I want the best blu rays I can get for his films...
I know this release will be cheap... and I'll probably buy it... but I would spring for BREAKOUT again if Indicator comes out with an announcement...

I already have HARD TIMES and THE STONE KILLER through Twilight
