I can say for a fact from just the trailer, House Shark and Tress will both look like art films compared to the crap I sat through last night:

Bad shark movie lovers, there's nothing here for you but a couple off-screen kills. One attack (off-screen, this had no ****ing budget) in which a character is supposed to have a "huge chunk taken out of her leg" and just has some horrible looking fake blood on it. Nothing flows, characters are introduced and go nowhere, one gets possessed and then disappears. The only nice thing I can say is a couple of the girls were cute, and the cover and "you're need a bigger cross" tagline are great. But no gore (just orange blood), no budget, no acting and no nudity it's a complete failure on every level. Not even close to "so bad it's good" like Birdemic or Shark Attack 3. Save yourself 60-some minutes and don't even bother with this pile of shit.

Added to OP details of 2nd stretch goal just added to the campaign, including a 2-disc special edition, reversible cover art, and more if the stretch goal of $12K is reached.

Now there's a $13,000 stretch goal- a slipcover to all physical releases exclusive to copies bought in this campaign.

So now it's $30 for a 2-disc pressed Blu-ray with reversible cover art, with some extra tat plus a potential slipcover. Sounds like a nice package.

So it looks like the $13,000 goal has been reached.

Those who buy HOUSE SHARK off of Indiegogo will now get an exclusive backer slipcover on top of everything else.

I won that dvd on Ebay some time ago for $0,01. Part 2 was also included on the disc. too bad that sucked but the first is a flat out laugh riot!

Ron mentions in the overview that this is the 50th title, and that all but one other title were BD-Rs. Does anyone know what the one other pressed BD was?

So I watched this last night as a double feature with Dark Force's PRIMAL SCREAM blu ray.

House Shark was actually a great movie, far better than even I anticipated it to be. Some really good jokes and characters. Special effects effects were effective and funny. I'd put it in the top tier of modern comedy horror. Definitely worth checking out!

I was pretty surprised to see this on dvd in WM for five bucks. They do tend to like carrying shark movies though and I thought it sounded familiar. Kind of interesting to see ultra low budget indie companies' releases in the big box stores.

That shit is boring to me. I'll take a legitimately bad but fun movie like Yor or Spacehunter over self aware stuff like this.
Bad movies that are bad despite the filmmakers trying to make what they thought was a good movie is fine. But when people try to make a bad movie on purpose then those movies always always turn out to be the dumbest, most boring and time wasting pathetic turds ever. I'd rather watch shocking dark 4 times in a row than watch anything made in the past 10 years that bads on purpose once.

You can always tell when someone is trying to make something for a specific audience or trying to ride some trend, and it always is awful.
