Yup, they’re just waiting for the copyright to get cheaper I believe. They said they expect to release it this year tho. Hopefully demand won’t be so high after Kimchi, HDzeta, and now FAC have put so many other options on the market. I just didn’t like any of FACs slip art. E2 was especially bland. I got the E1 edition from the hdn gb. Yeah, it was pricey, but I'm going to have it shipped with Wind River, and future 3 billboards/shape of water releases...so it won't be absurd price-wise for me.

The HDzeta slips take the prize for nice design, and the lenticulars will probably be great. But they were insanely difficult to acquire. I passed on the FAC editions, primarily because the slips didn't grab me, and I don't really care about all the other stuff in those editions.

I expect Manta will be excellent--especially with the advantage they have of seeing exactly which other editions people have liked the most.

I picked up E2, I initially wanted the E1 but the more I thought about it, it was the only one that looked different from all previous releases. I was more excited for getting a WEA Steelbook.

I hope Manta doesn't reuse another current design :x

Holy crap. Good to know. Based on their previous releases, they should slay 2049. I’ve seen some complaints about their QC but I don’t think that’ll stop me haha. I was gonna eBay a KimchiDVD FS, but I’ll hold out for this.

I have never ordered from FA. I went on the their website and clicked on the "Want to buy" button for the Film Maniacs boxset. I got a message that I would be sent an email with a payment link when one becomes available. Does anyone know if this mean they are sold out?

I like Edition #2. I also put in a 'pre-order', but not sure how that works or if I'm guaranteed a copy.

I decided I'd bite the bullet and check to see if I could still join the GB and it was still available, so I signed up.

Not sure about Manta, but I know I like this SteelBook cover as it appears to be WWE.

Forgive what may very well be a stupid question, but is the 'small collectible box' (the mondo art one) available to buy separately? I've looked at the FAC site and can't find it at all.
