Ah gotcha....I see now. Thanks for the clarification.

Wonder why it's still not for all XML redeems. They all show SD in MA for me, but it's random on which have switched to SD in iTunes.

Yes, it does appear random, and some movies can switch back and forth several times during the day. It was annoying me to the point where I just bit the bullet and bought HD codes for 3 titles.

There is an issue with pre Nov 17th SD codes that were redeemed in MA, if you also owned it in HD. Same problem with iTunes showing the "flipping" from SD/HD. The solution was to have MA delete the SD code from my locker. I disconnected/reconnected iTunes/MA and it has been fine ever since.

Seems that all my SD issues are from the previous DMA XML HD upgrades. Thankfully they are all older Disney movies that we won't really watch much anymore.....and if we want we still can (for now) watch them on Vudu.

Interesting that Vudu seems to be sticking this time (even after an unlink/relink for a different issue). Even though those titles are showing as SD in MA - Vudu still has them all in HDX.

It happens with Universal XML titles, too. VUDU will probably stay OK. MA tries to tell iTunes you have it in HD, but iTunes checks its own database and realizes you "purchased" SD, so that's why it flips.

Mine were flipping back and forth as well, even over the course of a 5 minute period!

Your only solution is to buy/redeem a real HD code in iTunes to overwrite your original SD redemption.
If only it wasn’t $15 each on iTunes. I would rebuy them M2D in a heartbeat if I could to avoid the aggravation. But you can’t because Vudu thinks you have HD.

Not sure which titles you're having issues with, but if it was Universal or Disney XML, you can buy the HD codes (here) and redeeming via iTunes will override the SD.

Almost all of mine are old Fox codes. All of my Universal ones are fine. Three Disney DMA movies reverted, holding out hope for those.

I checked my library, right now all my Disney movies are okay but Jurassic World is SD. (Titanic is also SD, not sure if that should be HD or not since purchase history won't load).

Edit: aaaand while I was typing Jurassic came back.

Titanic from the iTunes code redeems SD. Titanic (Paramount) is not part of MA.
