Fair.
Was thinking box office and home video revenue. Anyhow, hopefully all of the Pixar will be released in UHD. I'd be even more curious to see what Disney's Sleeping Beauty looks like though. Or Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. |

Incredibles isn't overrated. It's a great film and deserves acclaim it received.
Hopefully, more Disney catalog titles will follow. |

With the 1st one releasing on 4K around the time that the 2nd one in theatres, I'm thinking both Avengers will be released when IW is released on 4K.

Something about The Incredibles left me flat though I suspect it had more to do with the conditions I saw the movie than the movie itself. Nevertheless, I'm happy for those who like the movie and hope that 4k/HDR is a good upgrade for an older CGI film. And I'm more happy if this means more Disney catalog titles in 4k. So thumbs up from me.

It's 2K and it will be on this disc, too. Pixar has indicated that they tested re-rendering at 4K for UHD releases and decided that the cost/benefit wasn't there, so they'll be sticking with 2K for their UHDs for the foreseeable future.

Yup, I can’t find the article but Pixar said they did 4K scans of all their movies a few years ago. If anyone could find the article that would be great, I actually saw it in these forums. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Right, I guess I need to be more technical. My point was Pixar planned ahead for the future many years ago by upscaling instead of keeping the films at their original resolution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

^^^Yeah but wasn't their original resolution sub HD? I'm pretty sure when they went back and re-rendered some of these movies it was for theatrical 3D releases and that they were still rendered at 2k. I'm hoping they have the original logos intact at the opening of this film, as they've been replacing them with the new Disney castle as of late.
