having said that i've got a Quick question, before i start the game i've got a 1080P tv since i don't own a 4K tv which one should i pick for best picture?

1) is the Rope Ascender, Lockpick and Reinforced Knife only available through a merchant or do you get those items through normal story progression?...I thought the merchants were just for bonus items like new outfits, weapons, ammo etc or to buy the items earlier...what important items need to be purchased?...in the previous games you get all the gear you need through normal story progression

2) is there any way of viewing all the Challenges in a particular area (Find 4 Condor eggs, dive off 4 platforms etc) without discovering each one individually?...with the previous games you could view what the challenges were for the area right from the beginning (it doesn't tell you where they are located, just what they are) but with Shadow it seems you need to find them on your own before they even get displayed in your inventory/map

The Hidden City is crazy huge. There are so many side quests and treasures to discover that it will take hours to complete.

I like the way Lara stealth-kill an enemy by slicing their neck. Brutal.....

It took awhile to figure out how to exit the pirate ship. Had to backtrack until I acquired the shotgun.

Whoa!! There is some sort of creatures lurking in the cave.

Shadow of the a Tomb Raider is looking like The Last of Us with that horror element.

I have to use my flame-tip arrows to quickly kill them.

Currently on Eye of the Serpent.

This game is amazing.

There’s piranhas in the water! I got killed a few times by them.

Forgot a lot about Shadow of Tomb Raider’s story. I remember for the most part, I liked the game. I’ll have to revisit it sometime next-gen.

BTW, the Atmos track on this game is fantastic.

Atmos is not an X specific feature and is also available on the S. You just need to pay the $15 for the app/license if you plan to use it with headphones.

maybe that's how this game is? i had to buy a lock pick and a rope ascender. i sold some shit and bought both. i'm a lot farther than i was last time i was on here. i'm up to 32%
i just did the side mission for that kid and got his dice back to him. so far i've beat 2 of the 5 hidden chambers that are in the hidden city. i've only found 2 of them so far and after watching Goldy on you tube he found a 3rd one i had no idea even existed!

now i'm up to 36% and i've beat 4 crypts i just need to find the last one to beat the 5 and i think to get the achievement. before i continue on to the main story
