Since "Other" wasn't an option (It'll be either Rampage or A Quiet Place, whichever one wins the April 13-15 weekend will certainly win this weekend too), I picked I Feel Pretty since it'll open the best of the new openers. If it manages to break out and pulls in a lot of its target demo, it may even win the weekend.

I would like to see Super Troopers 2. Have zero interest in I Feel Pretty.

I wonder how many theaters the juggernaut Tomb Raider will be in...

Does Traffik come out the 20th or the 27th? I don't see it in Friday's showtimes here.

I keep seeing both dates. The official poster (including the one in the theater lobby) says April 27th.

The 20th, they moved it away from Avengers.

I think AQP will take it. Rampage will have a larger drop.

Strange, we usually get most wide releases (even a fair amount of limited such as Leisure Seeker and Death Of Stalin). But Acrimony never played here either if that tells you anything.

Does anyone know if there is a website that will tell you theater listings regardless of distance? Fandango is the most useless website ever, it only tells you within a small perimeter of your location.

I don't see I Feel Pretty making more than A Quiet Place.

Traffik is not a wide release it is only going to be in 1000 theaters.

So did Disneynature: Dolphins get pushed or cancelled or what? I know the series has never been a box office force by any standards, but I always looked forward to their Earth Day releases.

Disney's own site only has a vague "Coming Soon".
Fandango says it's released.
IMDb says it's currently filming.
And blu-ray.com says April 20.

Seems like the release got cancelled. Won't be out for Earth Day next year either cause Disney already has Penguins set for that weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up going direct-to-streaming like a few other Disneynature docs (or maybe it'll end up on Disney's new streaming service).

Both Rampage and AQP estimated around $20M-$21M. I Feel Pretty not looking too good with the box office crowds and will be a distant third. No mention of Tomb Raider at all

That is still enough to qualify as a wide release. But very hard to win a weekend with that, not sure any film has been #1 in fewer than a thousand theaters since Borat.

Sad that rampage was lame, the game was cool and I think a film would have been not very difficult to develop.

I plan on seeing super troopers next week though.

We get mostly everything wide too and it sucks we're not getting Traffik either. I wanted to see it. My theatre even played the trailer before a few movies.

I was at the theater today and the poster is still there (where it has been for well over a month). The poster they have says April 27th though, hoping we get it then. But not getting my hopes up.
