Surely there is another forum section better suited for this thread.

How about you do the research you should have done before posting about something that's already being covered elsewhere, Champ? Or are you too busy stealing the deals from this site and posting them over on Slick Deals?

It wouldn't be a problem if the TV manufacturers equipped their 2017 and 2018 models with 3D capabilities. So that people have the option to continue to enjoy their 3D discs.
I think for manufacturers it was just more profitable to start selling 4k sets instead. Over time, they'll catch on with many more consumers than 3D sets ever did...

Default Sony Bravia 55” 4K 3D TV

Really? I was looking for one around that time, because I wanted to upgrade to 4K for my 3D viewing TV (I own Sony’s 50” 1080p 3D Bravia), but resigned myself to having to purchase a separate 4K TV because there were only sellers outside of Amazon pricing it at $1000 and above.

How’s the clouding on it, by the way? I know a lot of people complain about it. Had mine for 2 years before it showed some noticeable clouding in the bottom center of the screen (only noticeable on a totally black screen). I still may purchase one if it’s the right price, so that I can give mine a rest.

Why you think that and have been spreading it around I don't know. I don't understand why you and your troll friends enjoy following me around on this forum making up this Slick Deals story about me. I have no idea where it came from but the false accusation pisses me off. I feel sorry for you. Life must be pretty crummy if you have to entertain yourself lying about people on this forum.

Not really but the sales on 4K Blu-Rays taking over 3D Blu-Rays in the USA in the early-2020s might've been triggered. 3D Blu-Ray & 4K Blu-Ray combos are still present in Japan such as Deadpool & Wolverine while 3D Blu-Rays are still partially present for rereleases of the Avatar films, Alita Battle Angel & Titanic.
