If it's MOD, it is probably handled by another branch of Universal Home Entertainment. I have a Universal press site and none of the MOD titles have been listed on it, just like how WAC titles were never on the WB site I used to have access to. Ditto for Sony's MOD titles.
That would make sense as my nbc uni reps have no record of it in their system. If it's mod this would be the first mod Blu-ray release by universal correct?

No, Universal have been doing pressed MOD catalog titles since December 2017, and they did their first TV series release last month (The Sinner).
oh reallllly? which ones? I haven't seen a MOD designation on any of them, which is why I'm curious. any way to differentiate?

So far, I own every one of them released, and all discs are replicated BD-50s. They all have inkjet-printed covers, like WAC releases, but only crude pop-up menus (The Sinner has static episode/extra selection menus), as well as chapters every ten minutes exactly. Several extras have also been stretched to 16:9 (where applicable, many titles had no extras on DVD). All of the films come with optional English SDH subtitles, but the episodes of The Sinner do not.

I actually pestered Best Buy about this release for days, because the UPC came up in their system, but there was no pre-order. I ended up getting nowhere with about three different customer service departments (you have to wait for them to "activate" the listing once they are told they can sell the item, or something like that), but the upshot is both this and Junior arrived today. More American Graffiti is thus far the first of these I didn't buy, and I will let someone else find out if it's somehow superior to Universal's own international retail Blu-ray.

First of all, for the benefit of people like me who obsess over this, I can confirm both discs are pressed.
Note: On Disc 2 of my copy, Episode 11 ("Staten Island Fairy") has only Dolby Digital 5.1 (448 kbps) audio. All other episodes have 24-bit DTS-HD MA 5.1 tracks. I have attempted to contact Universal to see if they will remedy the error, and I will update the thread if and when they respond to me.
Unlike the films presented in the MOD line thus far, this TV release does not have any subtitles. See also: The Sinner: Season One.
There is a static main menu on both discs, for selecting episodes. A "play all" option has been included.

Ironically, both this release and Junior are the first Universal MOD Blu-rays to correctly indicate that they have DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 on the back cover, but now, even that is also a mistake when it comes to the Will and Grace release.
